our process
The Secret of Our Success
the initial call
When you contact Atlanta Basement Creations, we will inquire about the goals you have in mind for your basement finishing project and discuss the feasibility of those goals in conjunction with your budget and your short and long term plans. We want to make sure we provide you with the best service and advice for your circumstances. Our objective will be to turn your thoughts and dreams into reality.
on-site complimentary consultation
The initial phone call is followed by an on-site consultation where we come out to meet with you in person and take a closer look at your project. At this point, we will discuss, in more detail the end result that you are looking for. We will also make sure you fully understand the basement finishing process.
the agreement
With the last details finished, we will sign a construction agreement. At this meeting, we will review the project scope, designs and finish selections and answer any questions you may have. We will establish a payment schedule that will be based upon progress that has been made on the basement finishing project. We will describe the anticipated project lifecycle so that you’ll know up front what to expect of us. We will advise you as to how and when you may be impacted during the construction process. Our goal will be to minimize any imposition on you.
Construction
Construction begins with a review of the contract documentation. We will present you with a copy of your agreement along with any additional project information. During the project we will have progress meetings to make sure that we are proceeding according to plan. Upon completion, we will have a final walk-through with you to identify any areas that may need “fine tuning” and leave you to enjoy your newly finished basement.
security
We are honored to be invited into our client’s homes and entrusted, in many cases, with their largest investment. As such, we respect our client’s privacy. We don’t ask for a key to the home. We use our own door knob key and lock box for access to the space while under construction.
